Like Naughty America, but for Nerds

I recently received a gift subscription to Marvel's new Digital Comics library, and I have to talk about it. A year's worth! Better than Naughty America? I don't know bout that, but it's pretty fucking cool. There has been a ridiculous amount of internet chatter on the viability of something like this, and I have to admit it has won me over. Going to work today after staying up close to all night reading Uncanny X-Men and Punisher back issues is really a testament in itself, I believe - like it's 1992 and I am 12, selling my baseball cards to fuel a new hobby and reading them in bed with a flashlight all hours of the night. The collection is still spotty, and I am not plugged in enough to tell you if Marvel is planning on posting everything, or how long of a lag it will be for new material to be posted. I know Marvel has been putting out some. . . unfortunate. . . material of late anyway - I don't really think the new stuff is the selling point for most. Site's worth checking out regardless of your level of comic book tolerance - there are scores of free samples, and the digital reader is a pretty cool gadget.
