No Country For Old Men

I didn't watch the Oscars . . . cause I am not a middle-aged fat woman or a homosexual. But I was stoked to see Cormac McCarthy's No Country win best movie. I saw all the nominees, and while There Will Be Blood was impressive, and Juno was cute, No Country was the best. What a great movie. Javier Bardem won a statue as well, and if that guy didn't scare you, I don't know what to tell you. Really low ratings for the telecast as well . . . The whole 5 hour circle jerk is such a turnoff. Everyone gave the Golden Globes shit for just announcing the winners during the writers' strike, but I thought it was refreshing. I would watch something like that. Get some scantily clad hottie - maybe Tricia Helfer - to stand in front of a blue screen, show some clips, announce the winners. No acceptance speeches, no audience, just slam bam thank you ma'am. That would get some ratings. . . well maybe not.
